Message for RE2026 International Conference
The world is committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030 to stop global warming. Although various initiatives are underway, further acceleration in a wider range of fields is required.
To respond to the ever-changing social and economic conditions while realizing a transformation of social systems toward net-zero emissions over several decades, it is essential to continuously apply our best efforts and wisdom in introducing new scientific knowledge and technologies, implementing regionally tailored policies, and developing the human resources to carry them out. Therefore, regularly bringing together and widely sharing international knowledge is of great importance.
The 6th RE2026 International Conference will consist of two main components: a program of invited presentations introducing the current status and plans of various countries across broad technological fields of renewable energy, and presentations of the latest scientific and technical research through posters in the exhibition hall. RE2026 will also promote interaction with the concurrently held Energy Innovation Exhibition. We hope that many people will actively participate and contribute to future progress.
